Professional Services

Whilst seeing our clients is the heart of what we do, we are passionate about the wider role of physiotherapy and the profession as a whole.

Our therapists maintain a high quality CPD portfolio and maintain keen interests in areas of speciality.

As part of this, we offer the following professional services alongside our physiotherapy treatments. If you are interested in finding out more about our services, please email us on info@woodseatsphysiotherapy.com

We are keen to contiue the development of physiotherapy through key publications and research. Chris, our specialist therapist is currently co-writing a chapter on ILD in a student case study book. He is also named in research in the field of respiratory care, as well as planning his own research.

We are interested in contributing to any new books, journals or research

Our specialist Physiotherapist Chris hails from an education background and is keen to continue this in his role as a physiotherapist. Chris has provided guest lecturing at several Universities and to self-arranged groups of students, the most recent of which being The University of Huddersfield. He has provided sessions on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Inhaler Techniques, Auscultation and Interstitial Lung Disease.

We would be very interested in providing guest lectures and sessions at your university or learning institution.

As well as lecturing to groups of students about our specialist areas, we also offer this service on a one to one basis, either in person, or over MS Teams. If you are new to a role and worried about the level of knowledge required, or are finding certain topics at University difficult, we can help you develop your knowledge, understanding and confidence to progress in your studies or your career.

We are also able to assist teams of staff with certain aspects of care. Perhaps you work in a school in which your staff need to assist children with their inhalers? Maybe you run a care home or agency and need advice and support on breathing techniques or sputum clearance to prevent admission?

Whatever the need, we would be happy to hear from you to see if we can help.
